the freyja collective

beautiful.

Inspired by the Lilith Plan, the FREYJA collective exists for the women of Utah.

the FREYJA collective promotes: fertility awareness, radical self-sufficiency, earth centered living, youth outreach, justice, and choice.

i am really excited to watch this grow. these little ways that we find to be able to re-seed/re-wild ourselves in response to the destructiveness of our current ways of living. to grinding ourselves in the destruction machine.

also want to point to a couple of the collective's principles that i loved:

Plant medicine, and especially wildcrafting, must be done with an eye to the species. For example, we strongly discourage the use of blue cohosh, as the herb is nearly extinct. We exist to promote access to reproductive health choices to young women, who currently receive an abysmal education in sexual health in the state of Utah.

(...)

In ritual and celebration, we strive to resist the appropriation of that which does not belong to us.

go check it out! they also have a facebook page.

on a side note, i love klimt, so the visual of the blog won me over immediately...
